MONOCHROME & COLOUR PRINTS
- A maximum of four prints for each division which do not exceed 16" x20" (40x50cm) and not smaller than 11" x14" (28x35cm), Monochrome or colour, in any photographic medium, may be submitted. Local entries should be mounted on 16" x20" (40x50cm) cardboard.
- Foreign entries must be unmounted. Those foreign entries accepted for exhibition will be suitably mounted by the Salon Committee. Foreign entries if mounted or sent with over-sized hard containers exceeding 900mm in length, width and depth combined or weighing more than 2kg will not be returned as PRINTED MATTER in accordance with local postal regulations unless an extra postage of US$18.00 or € 18.00 for returned as PARCEL POST has been submitted with the entry fee.
- Every print must bear on its back, the name and address of the entrant and also the number and title to correspond with the respective entry form. All entries, except mounting, must be solely produced by the entrants.
- A black & white work fitting from the very dark grey (black) to the very clear grey (white) is a monochrome work with the various shades of grey. A black & white work toned entirely in a single colour will remain a monochrome work able to stand in the black & white category; such a work can be reproduced in black & white in the catalogue of a salon under FIAP Patronage. On the other hand a black & white work modified by partial toning or by the addition of one colour becomes a colour work (polychrome) to stand in the colour category; such a work requires colour reproduction in the catalogue of a salon under FIAP Patronage.
- Prints must be sent under separate cover from entry form which should be enclosed with the entry fee.
- Separate entry form should be used for each division.
