GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Similar images may not enter for more than one section in any salon. Images or similar images which have been accepted in our previous exhibitions will not be accepted for re-submission in any section.
- While all possible cares will be taken in handling the entries, no responsibilities will be assumed by the Association for any loss or damage while in transit or during the exhibition.
- The Association assumes the right of reproduction of any entry in press and/or catalogue as well as the right to recommend an accepted entry for permanent collection by the Association, unless the entrant stated to the contrary in the entry form.
- An entry fee (each division) of US$15.00 or €15.00 for Monochrome & Colour
Prints Division and US$12.00 or €12.00 for Colour Slide Division
and Digital Images Division. Entry form must be enclosed
with payment. Prints, Slides and Digital Images not accompanied by the above stated, entry will neither be judged nor returned. (Personal cheques NOT acceptable). The fee covers the cost of notification of the result, catalogue, and return postage of the entries by PRINTED MATTER POST.
- Local, Macau and China, entry fee is HK$80.00 for each division. Return postage is not included. No entry fee is charged for members of this Association. Hon.EUAPA (Overseas) US$6.00 or €6.00 for return postage.
- Airmail returns: US$10.00 or €10.00 for Monochrome & Colour prints (each division), US$5.00 or €5.00 for Colour Slides division.
- Additional copy of catalogue is available at US$10.00 or €10.00 per copy including postage by surface mail.
- Entrants should complete the entry form in accordance with these conditions and it should be understood that the submission of entries signifies the entrants’ acceptance of said conditions.
Separate entry form should be used for each division.
- This Salon will be conducted in conformity with PSA and FIAP regulations. Acceptance stickers will be issued. Both acceptance and awards obtained in this Salon will be counted towards PSA “Star Ratings” and “Who’s Who”, and such acceptances and awards will be taken into account for FIAP distinctions as well.
- The original image must be made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired with a digital camera. All images must be original and may not incorporate elements produced by anyone else. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his own and permits the sponsor to reproduce all or part of the entered material, free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition. The exhibition assumes no liability for any misuse of copyright by the entrant. Any modification of the original image must be made by the exhibitor. All final work must be on photographic film or photographic or electronic print material, mounting excepted.
- The exhibition must be open to anyone; however, an entry may be rejected when the sponsoring organization or its agent, in its reasonable discretion, believes the entry does not conform to exhibition rules and conditions.
